Eloisa has previously studied dentistry in the Philippines. Since moving to Canada, she is a graduate of CDI college took the orthodontic module at University of British Columbia. Outside of work, she spend quality time with her husband, Lawrence and daughter, Charley. She enjoys going to the parks, watch movies and eating out.
When asked why do you enjoy working in Orthodontics:

Melanie
Treatment and Financial Co-ordinator
Melanie graduated from Capilano University with a degree in Tourism Management. Her journey began in the hospitality industry during her college years, where she found joy serving people. Transitioning to a role where she could serve patients and educate them more about treatments was a conscious decision that resonated with her passion for assisting others. Away from the office, Melanie loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to pilates and visiting shooting ranges.

Chelsea graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program in 2008 and completed the Orthodontic Module in 2019. She loves watching movies, going on trips, sharing laughs with her family and friends, and watching her sons grow.

Shonalee
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Shonalee recently graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program at CDI College in 2021, and shortly after completed her Orthodontic Module. When away from the office, she loves spending time with family, catching up with friends, and travelling.

"It is rewarding to watch our patients smile transform, especially seeing the before and after results! I love being apart of their journey in helping them achieve a confident, and beautiful smile."
Serena
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Serena graduated from the CDA program in 2013 & worked in a pediatric dental office for over 8 years. She completed her Orthodontic module in 2018 & transitioned to Orthodontics in early 2022. Her hobby outside of work is dance & is talented in multiple styles. She is also a travel enthusiast & loves spending quality time with her family & friends.

"Orthodontics is a great fit for me as I've always had an interest towards great attention to detail, precision in my work & I enjoy working with people. I'm so happy to play a part in my patients journey, and to help them achieve a bright & beautiful smile."
Eun Jung
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Eun Jung grew up in Korea and started her dental career since moving to Canada. She enjoys multiple hobbies such as salsa dancing, snow boarding, wake boarding, and playing the guitar. She enjoys working in dentistry as much as she enjoys life!
When asked why do you enjoy working in Orthodontics:
"My priority is to make sure patients are comfortable in the dental chair. My great reward from work is watching patients be happy during the procedures and with achieving their beautiful results at the end of treatment. I am happy to give patients the best dental experience and will continue to educate myself in order to help bring out your bright smile.

She grew up in China and started studying dentistry after moving to Canada. She graduated from VCC in 2019, and then studied the orthodontic module at UBC in 2021. She loves spend time with her family at spare time, and enjoys traveling and watching movies.
When asked why do you enjoyed working in Orthodontics:
I enjoy being able to use the knowledge I have learned in orthodontics to help patients get their perfect smile. I love seeing and build rapport with our patients.

Records and Lab Technician
Chris is a graduate from the Dental Technology Program at VCC. Born in Alberta and raised in British Columbia, he has worked in the dental lab industry for 8 years. He takes great pride in his work, with a good eye for detail. When not working at First Impression, he likes to frequent the gym, practice mixed martial arts, going to restaurants, and spending time with his dog.
When asked why do you enjoy working in Orthodontics:
"I love working in Orthodontics because it gives me the opportunity to help build a patients confidence in their smile, while addressing the ROOT of the problem and working to prolong a patient's natural dentition. The whole experience from beginning to end is something to appreciate with each patient, as you get to experience with them the transformation in their smile and with it the confidence it brings."
Records Technician
Albert graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BSc in Biology. Embracing an active lifestyle, he enjoys running, hiking, and playing badminton. He also likes to spend his free time trying new restaurants, watching NHL or NBA games on TV, and listening to audiobooks.
When asked why do you enjoy working in Orthodontics:
"I enjoy meeting and working with patients of all ages to help them feel more confident about themselves. Playing a role in transforming peoples' smiles and seeing the remarkable results captured in before-and-after photos is very gratifying for me."
